SUMMARY:Handcrafting Herbal Lotions: A Beginner’s workshop
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve ever wanted to make your own herbal creams and loti
 ons at home you’re in for an absolute treat. I’ve asked Kaja\, from Her
 bae Thylacini to teach us how!\n\n\n\nShe’s an expert herbal cream-maker\
 , specializing in sensitive skin and traditional craftsmanship. What she do
 esn’t know about herbs\, oils\, and emulsifiers isn’t worth knowing!\n\
 n\n\nIn this hands-on\, deeply explorative Herb Folk workshop\, she’ll  
 walk us step-by-step through the herbal lotion-making process. You’ll lea
 ve understanding:\n\n\n\n\nWhat is a herbal lotion or cream?\n\n\n\nwhat in
 gredients are in it\, and how to choose which herbs or oils?\n\n\n\ndo you 
 need preservatives and if so\, which ones?\n\n\n\nwhat is an emulsifier\, a
 nd how do you choose the best one for your lotion?\n\n\n\nwhat's the shelf-
 life for herbal lotions and creams? How can I tell if they've gone off?\n\n
 \n\n\nKaja will have various creams and lotions to try  (so you can feel t
 he difference) and she’ll demonstrate how to make it at home – with opp
 ortunities to pick her brain as we go.\n\n\n\nWe’re still finalising whet
 her you’ll be able to make your own lotion in the workshop (we hope so) b
 ut I can promise it’ll be as hands-on and interactive as we can make it\,
  as I firmly believe the best learning happens when you get your hands dirt
 y (or in this case\, really silky 😉). Either way\, you'll get to take ho
 me the most gorgeous handcrafted herbal lotion to use at home.\n\n\n\nWhils
 t this workshop is aimed at beginners\, even if you have experience making 
 your own herbal lotions and creams at home\, you’ll still get a lot out o
 f this workshop! You’ll have a chance to have super nerdy convos with Kaj
 a (although we won’t have time to go too deep down too many skincare rabb
